The November Teacher of the Month =

at Eva= nt I.S.D. is 3^rd Grade Teacher

Mrs. Sharon Herbst.

Mrs. Sharon Herbst is in her 17th year in education and her 6th year in Evant after also teach= ing in Copperas Cove for many years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a specialization in Biology from Mary Hardin-Baylor. She = grew up in the Kempner area and graduated from Lampasas High Schoo= l. She now lives in Adamsville with my wonderful husband, Dennis, and two cute children, Jordan and Jessie. She states that she “really = enjoys the children in this area. Th= ey make teaching fun!! I am prou= d to be teaching in such a supportive community!!! Evant is a tremendous place to live and work!”

Mrs. Sharon Herbst is kind,= hard working and very giving. She = works to make sure that everyone, the staff and also the students feel special and welcome. Mrs. Herbst is very devoted to her profession and always puts her students first. Sharon works very hard to that each child feels important and gets the individuali= zed instruction they need. She is= the kind of teacher you hope your child would have the privilege of learning fr= om.

Evant ISD’s November Employe= e of the Month

Mrs. Rhonda Belanger.

Mrs. Rhonda Belanger has be= en here working at Evant ISD for 5 years and “absolutely loves it.” She attended school here from Kindergarten year through 12th grade, has a Cosmetology license, but would much rather be here at Evant. She is married= to Shane Belanger and together they have one daughter, Heather, and her precio= us Aunt Sherri that lives with them. Her home has always been in Adamsville, b= ut her family spent the better part of the last 20 years in many different sta= tes while Shane was stationed around the world. In response to receiving this recognition she said, “It's a wonderful honor to receive this award, = and it really makes you feel special to know you have so many caring and talent= ed teachers and workers that appreciate you.&= nbsp; I appreciate all of them as well and I am very honored for the recognition! “

Rhonda is always happy show= ing her smiling and welcoming face to everyone.&nb= sp; She is one of the most pleasant people you will ever meet and she al= ways makes us feel better when we talk to her.&= nbsp; She is a very caring and generous person who has a way of always mak= ing you feel special. She is alwa= ys pleasant and willing to help support students and staff members in many, ma= ny ways. Rhonda is one of the ni= cest people I have had the pleasure to work with. Mrs. Thompson, an Evant ISD English and Theater teacher even added, “It is an honor to know her.”

Congratulations to both of these ladies. Both are always pleasant to be aro= und, and both are genuinely concerned about our students.
